Hot and steamy in Vermont today as we head into the July Fourth weekend. A note on VCIA’s Annual Conference this August: we now have over 25 people signed up for our bike tour on Tuesday that week. A number of firms look like they are bringing in their “teams” which is terrific. I did notice one registrant, Lance Strongarm, but I assume that’s a typo. We will be conducting blood tests after the race just in case. Thus begins the return of the Tour de Captive!

A quick shout out to our friend and colleague, Stephanie Mapes, upon being named President of the law firm Paul Frank + Collins. Not only is Steph one of the best legal minds in the captive insurance industry, she is also one of the most helpful and involved people we know here at VCIA. Congratulations, Steph!
